Description

General description

Natural Stone Sealer with Colour Enhancing Effect is a protective impregnating sealer designed to enhance the color of natural stone surfaces. This high-quality, clear, solvent-free acrylic coating alters the chemical structure of porous sandstone or natural stone, providing an excellent water-repellent and stain-resistant surface. Once applied, it gives a damp or slightly wet look finish, enhancing the original coloring of the surface.

Coverage: 5 - 10 m² per litre for the first coat; 10 - 20 m² per litre for the second coat, depending on surface porosity

Touch dry: 2 - 3 hours

Application temperature range: 15° to 23°C

Compatibility and accessories

Suitable for: Sandstone (with exceptions), Limestone, Terracotta, Slate, Marble, and Granite

Not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone

Installation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contamination before application

If algae or stains are present, pre-treat with an appropriate cleaning product

If a sweep-in pointing compound has been used within the last 6 months, clean the surface with Smartseal Residue Remover before applying the sealer

Use a suitable pressure sprayer or roller, avoiding pooling

Apply to full saturation, starting from the bottom on vertical surfaces

Remove any excess after approximately 30 - 40 minutes

For best results, apply a second coat wet on wet after the first coat is touch dry (around 45 minutes)

Do not apply in damp conditions

Clean all equipment with water immediately after use

Usage

Can be used externally or internally
