Ronseal Direct to Metal Paint is a high-quality, water-based paint designed specifically for metal surfaces. It provides a tough and durable finish, allowing for direct application on rust without the need for a primer. This paint is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering minimal preparation and a quick recoat time.

    Before painting, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease. For optimal results:
  • Remove loose rust or paint with a wire brush or sandpaper.
  • For previously painted surfaces in good condition, lightly sand before applying.
  • Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
  • Apply 2 coats for standard coverage; 3 coats for rusty or high-durability areas.
  • Allow 2-4 hours between coats.
  • Usage

    Apply with a brush, roller, or spray, diluting with about 10% water if spraying. Ensure proper ventilation during application. The paint will be touch dry in 30 minutes after the final coat. For best results, follow the manufacturer's instructions for surface preparation and maintenance.
