General description

Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil nourishes decking while providing a beautiful natural finish. It is designed to withstand changeable weather conditions and cope with general wear and tear, lasting twice as long as standard decking oils. This oil restores wood oils lost through weathering and offers protection from scuffs and scratches.

Installation

For untreated grey and weathered wood, use Ronseal Decking Restorer to restore the deck's natural colour before application.

For previously finished decking, use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to remove contaminants.

Ensure all loose, flaking, or peeling coatings are removed.

For new wood, allow it to weather naturally for about 6 months before applying the oil.

Clean the deck with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Test the cleaning effectiveness by splashing water on the deck; if beading occurs, re-clean.

Allow the deck to dry fully before applying the oil.

Usage

Apply the Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil using a brush, ensuring even coverage. It is recommended to test a small area first to determine the final colour, as it may vary based on wood texture, grain, and previous treatments.

covers easily however, doesn't last for as long as is suggested. decking still needs staining every year.
