Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream is a BBA-certified silicone cream that penetrates deep into masonry to provide long-lasting water repellency. Applied in a single coat, it helps improve energy efficiency by reducing heat loss through damp walls. Once cured, it forms a breathable, colourless finish that lasts for over 25 years. Stormdry is designed for porous substrates including clay brick, mortar, sandstone & concrete blocks. It penetrates up to 12 mm into Fletton brick, creating a barrier that resists rain penetration while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Apply by brush, roller or airless spray to dry, unsealed masonry. A litre covers up to 5 m2 depending on porosity. Avoid application in wet conditions or when temperatures are forecast to drop below 5 degrees C. Surfaces must be clean & biological growth removed beforehand. Compatible cracks up to 0.3 mm will self-seal under treatment. Larger defects should be filled & left to cure before use. Stormdry Cream appears white at first, fading as it absorbs. Surfaces are shower-resistant after 2-4 hours, though full beading may take up to 2 months. Can be applied before cavity wall insulation to protect against future damp. Not suitable for use below DPC level. Decant this refill pack into a reusable bucket to help reduce plastic waste on-site.
