Easy to apply, smells wierd, definitely need good ventilation. It's like applying oil based gloss to your walls but it dries matt. We have a cellar that gets bad water seepage through the walls to the front. It forms salt crystals on the brickwork. We applied this paint about 5 years ago to some of the walls. Had to knock and scrape all the old render paint and crystals off before painting, then followed instructions on tin. It's still dry and so recently did more walls with a new tin
