Dryzone Renderguard Gold 5L - Salt-Neutraliser for Internal Walls

Renderguard Gold is a concentrated render additive used as part of the Safeguard damp-proofing system. It is designed for use in replastering following the installation of a remedial damp-proof course. When mixed with sand and cement, it produces a salt-inhibiting and vapour-permeable waterproof render. The additive reduces water demand, improves workability and remains chloride-free. It is supplied as a yellow liquid concentrate and is diluted at a 1:24 ratio with clean water before being used as a gauging solution. One litre of concentrate is sufficient for up to 7 m2 of render at 12 mm thickness. For the first render coat, the diluted solution is used to mix a 3:1 sharp sand to cement blend, which is applied to a thickness of 12 mm and keyed while setting. A second 12 mm render coat is applied using clean water instead of additive, giving a total thickness of 24 mm. A gypsum skim or porous finishing coat may then be used once the wall has dried out. Renderguard Gold is supplied in 5 litre and 25 litre containers and is BBA approved as part of the Safeguard system.
