Description

• This aerosol paint is designed for direct application onto rusted metal surfaces. It acts as a primer, undercoat, and topcoat in one, providing a quick and convenient solution for rust protection. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use on various metal surfaces such as gates, railings, drainpipes, guttering, and garden furniture. Compatibility and Accessories

• Suitable for use on rusted metal surfaces, including iron, steel, and galvanized metals
• For bare zinc, aluminium, or galvanised surfaces, apply a suitable primer before painting

Installation

• Shake the can vigorously until the agitator ball is heard, then shake for an additional 3 minutes
• Spray in a well-ventilated area, holding the can approximately 150mm (6 inches) from the surface
• Apply light, even coats, keeping the spray moving to avoid drips and uneven coverage
• Apply 3-4 coats for optimal protection, allowing 15 minutes between coats
• Invert the can and spray for 2 seconds after each coat to prevent blockages

Usage

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose paint, dirt, grease, and rust before application
• For best results, store the aerosol at room temperature for 2 hours prior to use
• Apply in a well-ventilated area, using multiple light coats for even coverage
• Allow each coat to dry for approximately 15 minutes before applying the next
• Touch dry in about 15 minutes; full curing may take longer depending on conditions
