Description

The Makita DUH604S 18v brushless hedge trimmer is compact and lightweight and has been designed for intensive pruning work on hedges with the professional user in mind. It has a total blade length of 600mm and has a rotatable handle, which allows comfort when operating in all positions.

The DUH604S has a single-sided blade design with an attached catcher plate for catching/deflecting the cuttings. The blades come with an optimum shape design for smooth cutting and longer run times for efficient hedge cutting with less friction.

Other features include 3x electronic speed settings, constant speed control, reverse switch and an automatic off function, so if the machine has not been operated with for 60 seconds after being turned on, it will automatically turn off. Features: Triple-edged cutting teeth are designed to easily catch and firmly hold branches. Curved blades reduce friction resistance to suppress energy loss. Due to the low resistance run time is increased.

Was dubious about whether a battery powered chain saw would have the guts to do the job and was more than pleasantly surprised. Perfect for my needs (home/diy). Simple to assemble, no faffing about with mixing 2 stroke to the correct mix and no hassle with choke or pull starts. Oh and it cut through the tree stump like a knife through butter. Mega impressed.
