Description

General description

Osmo Country Colour in Dusk Grey is a high-quality wood finish designed for exterior wood surfaces. It offers exceptional weather and UV resistance, along with excellent water and dirt repellency. This microporous, breathable finish allows the wood to breathe without cracking, peeling, or flaking, and it does not require sanding for future applications.

Drying time: 10-12 hours

Coverage: 26 m²/L with one coat

Recommended coats: 2 coats

Moisture content max. for wood surface: 20%

Installation

Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free.

Stir well before use; do not thin.

If possible, apply the first coat to all sides of the wood before installation.

Use an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller for application, applying thinly and evenly along the wood grain.

Allow to dry for approximately 10-12 hours under good ventilation before applying a second coat.

Usage

For renovation works, one coat on a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.

For additional protection against blue stain, rot, and insects, pre-treat the wood with Osmo WR Base Coat.

For outdoor surfaces requiring extra protection, apply a top coat of Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Clear after thorough drying.

Regular cleaning can be done with Osmo Decking Cleaner and a Decking Cleaning Brush.

For maintenance, use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel or Osmo Gard Clean as needed.

Recoating can be done by simply applying one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear appear.

Other information

Available in 186 RAL Classic and 1950 NCS colour tones, with options for biocidal film protection additives.

Using power washers may decrease the coverage of the finish.

Many wood species may leach out water-soluble coloured extractives when weathered.

osmo country colour is simply the best finish for any external outbuilding, shed, workshop, summer house, pergola etc. yes its expensive but you should find it for around £72-£75 for 2.5l but it spreads superbly and is worth its weight in the time spent from recoating if you used other brands
