Description

General description

Osmo Country Colour is a high-quality wood finish designed for exterior wood surfaces. It offers exceptional weather and UV resistance, along with excellent water and dirt repellency. This microporous, breathable finish allows the wood to breathe without cracking, peeling, or flaking, and it requires no sanding for future applications. Available in a variety of colors, it enhances the natural beauty of wood while providing long-lasting protection.

Recommended coats: 2 coats

Moisture content max. for wood: 20%

Surface preparation

Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free.

Remove old microporous stains thoroughly.

Completely remove old paints and lacquers.

Installation

Stir well before use and do not thin.

If possible, apply the first coat to all sides before installation.

Use Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller for application.

Apply thinly and evenly along the wood grain.

Allow to dry for approximately 10-12 hours under good ventilation before applying a second coat.

For renovation works, one coat on a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.

Usage

For additional protection against blue stain, rot, and insects, pre-treat the wood with Osmo WR Base Coat.

For outdoor surfaces requiring extra protection, apply one top coat of Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Clear after thorough drying.

Regular cleaning can be done with Osmo Decking Cleaner and a cleaning brush.

For maintenance, use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel or Osmo Gard Clean as needed.

Recoating is simple; just apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear appear.

Other information

Country Colour is available in 186 RAL Classic and 1950 NCS color tones.

Biocidal film protection additives are also available.

Using power washers may decrease the coverage of the finish.

Multi-purpose cleaners can increase the frequency of maintenance and recoating.

osmo country colour is simply the best finish for any external outbuilding, shed, workshop, summer house, pergola etc. yes its expensive but you should find it for around £72-£75 for 2.5l but it spreads superbly and is worth its weight in the time spent from recoating if you used other brands
