• Our 15 Year Protection Direct to Metal Paint provides a tough, durable, and long-lasting finish for metal surfaces. It can be applied directly to rust without the need for primer and requires minimal preparation. The paint is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering excellent protection against corrosion and weathering.

Installation

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease before application
• Remove loose rust or paint with a wire brush or sandpaper
• For previously painted surfaces, lightly sand or remove flaking paint
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use
• Apply 2-3 coats, allowing 2-4 hours between coats
• For best results, apply in dry conditions above 10°C and avoid rain during drying

Usage

• Apply directly to rusted or clean metal surfaces using a brush, roller, or spray
• For spraying, dilute with about 10% water or as per sprayer instructions
• Allow each coat to dry for 2-4 hours; touch dry in 30 minutes
• Inspect annually and touch up any imperfections with additional coats to maintain protection
