• Our 15 Year Protection Direct to Metal Paint provides a tough, durable finish suitable for various metal surfaces. It is designed to be applied directly to rust and previously painted metal without the need for a primer. The paint offers long-lasting protection with minimal preparation required, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

Installation

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease.
• Remove loose rust or paint with a wire brush or sandpaper (120 grit for bare metal, 240 grit for previously painted surfaces).
• Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and allow it to dry thoroughly.
• Stir the paint well for 2-3 minutes before application.
• Apply with a brush, roller, or spray, diluting with about 10% water if spraying.
• Allow 2-4 hours between coats; apply 2-3 coats for best results.

Usage

• Apply directly to rusted or previously painted metal surfaces.
• For optimal protection, apply 3 coats, especially on rusty metal.
• Touch dry in 30 minutes after the final coat.
• Maintain by inspecting annually and touching up any imperfections with additional coats.
