How to use:

Installation instructions: 1. Remove existing pipe covers. Remove all old roof sealant at least 2 inches around the solar vent flange. 2. Place the solar vent fan over the duct vent and draw a pencil line around the flange to check for clean joint area and duct vent clearance. 3. When installing solar vents, use only butyl tape or caulk that is compatible with plastic and roof surfaces. Do not use solvents which could damage the flange. Apply sealant or caulk to the areas marked with a pencil. Apply carefully to avoid crevices that could allow water to penetrate. 4. Secure the solar vent to the roof using the screws provided. 5. Apply additional roofing sealant to the screw heads and around the edges of the flanges. 6. Do not put fingers or other objects into the solar vent.
