Description

General description

Owatrol E-B is a high-penetrating, stir-in paint additive designed for use in water-based masonry or interior paints. It effectively alleviates peeling problems on porous surfaces, making it especially suitable for unstable, chalky, and powdery surfaces, as well as crumbling brickwork or render. Owatrol E-B acts as a stabilizer, penetrating deep into the surface to firmly bond the first coat of paint to the substrate, eliminating the need for a separate primer.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean and free from grease, residue, loose debris, or flaking paint.

If dirty, wash with water and detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry before painting.

Remove any mildew by applying a mixture of detergent and a 1:3 solution of bleach and water, leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse and dry.
