General description

Zinsser AllCoat® Exterior Satin is a high-performance, mould-resistant paint designed to provide exceptional protection for various exterior surfaces, including wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, and cladding. This paint forms a vapour-permeable, low-maintenance, water-shedding coating that is recoatable in just 1 hour. It is available in black, white, and a range of bases that can be tinted to any desired color, making it versatile for different applications.

Installation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, and free of contamination.

Remove all loose or peeling paint and chalky residue.

Smooth edges of any remaining paint film by sanding.

New concrete and masonry surfaces must be cured for at least 30 days before priming.

Take special precautions when preparing pre-1960 paint surfaces, as they may contain harmful lead.

Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.

Usage

Shake or stir well before use.

Apply with a synthetic bristle brush, roller, or sprayer.

For airless spraying, use a .017 in tip and high-medium pressure (2000-2500 PSI).

Avoid painting in direct sunlight and maintain a wet edge to prevent lapping.

Remove existing mould and mildew before painting.
