General description

Zinsser AllCoat® Exterior Satin is a high-performance, mould-resistant paint designed to provide exceptional protection for various exterior surfaces, including wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, and cladding. This paint forms a vapour-permeable, low-maintenance, water-shedding coating that is recoatable in just 1 hour. It is available in white, black, and a range of bases that can be tinted to any desired color. The self-priming formula allows for application on previously painted surfaces without the need for sanding, even on glossy finishes or those coated with bitumen, tar varnish, or creosote.

Installation

Shake or stir well before use.

Apply with a synthetic bristle brush, roller, or sprayer.

For airless spraying, use a .017 in tip and high-medium pressure (2000-2500 PSI).

Avoid painting in direct sunlight and maintain a wet edge to prevent lapping.

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free of contamination.

Remove all loose or peeling paint and sand edges of remaining paint until smooth.

New concrete and masonry must be cured for at least 30 days before priming.

Ideal for exterior buildings with timber and metal cladding.

Provides excellent resistance against cracking, blistering, and flaking.

Offers long-lasting finish with up to 15 years of durability.

Excellent colour retention and flexible, micro-porous finish.

Remove existing mould and mildew before application for optimal results.
