Dryzone Renderguard Gold Render Additive

Dryzone Renderguard Gold is a high-specification plaster additive for use in sand and cement renders after installing a remedial damp-proof course. It forms a critical part of the Dryzone System, enhancing the performance of replastering works by resisting residual damp and salt contamination left behind in masonry. When mixed into the gauging water for sand and cement plaster coats, it imparts waterproofing and salt-retardant properties, improves workability, and reduces water demand without compromising vapour permeability. This ensures a durable and breathable finish that resists damp while allowing walls to dry naturally. Supplied as a yellow liquid in a 5 litre jerry can, each container treats up to 35 square metres of render at 12mm thickness. Suitable for use in the first render coat, Renderguard Gold helps prevent common post-treatment failures such as salt bloom or reappearance of damp patches. For best results, follow established application guidance, including mortar joint raking, appropriate mix ratios, and surface preparation. Once applied and fully cured, surfaces can be finished with breathable decorative coatings. Avoid vinyl paints or non-porous finishes that may trap moisture.
