General description

Oxid Vernis is a single pack clear varnish enriched with polyurethane-modified alkyd resins, designed for use on new or oxidized metals that have been treated with Owatrol Oil. It maintains the natural look of the surface while providing long-lasting protection. This varnish is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including gates, furniture, fences, and ornaments, and can be applied to horizontal or vertical surfaces with ease.

Technical specifications

Coverage: 18 m² per litre per coat

Drying Time: Touch dry in 5 hours, Recoat in 24 hours, Fully dry in 24 hours (depending on temperature and humidity)

Application Temperature: Between 5˚C and 35˚C

Usage

Ideal for protecting and weatherproofing ferrous and non-ferrous metals

Great for highly humid interior environments

Tools: Brush, Roller, Airless Sprayer

Clean up: White Spirit

For the first 14 days, do not clean with water

Avoid aggressive chemical cleaners for dirt removal

Ensure the room is well ventilated when using indoors

Other information

Expands and contracts with the structure, preventing peeling

Cover areas not intended for painting before application

Do not apply in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces
