Description
Raincheck LS is a colourless, ready-to-use water repellent formulated specifically for limestone. It provides long-lasting protection against penetrating damp while allowing walls to breathe naturally. Its advanced silane-siloxane composition is UV resistant and chemically engineered to bond with the carbonate structure of absorbent limestone, delivering deep penetration of between 2 and 10 mm depending on substrate porosity.
Designed for use on both new and existing buildings, Raincheck LS prevents moisture ingress and contributes to cleaner, more durable surfaces without altering appearance. Once applied, it forms a breathable barrier that repels water but permits vapour to escape, maintaining the material's natural characteristics. Its rapid curing time supports efficient project timelines, while a 10-year service life ensures reliable long-term performance.
Raincheck LS is easy to apply using a brush, roller or low-pressure spray. For best results, it must be applied to dry, porous limestone that has not been painted or sealed. Two uniform coats should be applied wet-on-wet. The product cures quickly, so any spills or splashes must be cleaned immediately to avoid permanent marking. Prior to application, it is essential to check for surface absorbency, remove dust, and ensure the area is free from paint or biological growth. Surfaces previously repointed should be given adequate time to cure.
Suitable for professional use on heritage stonework and modern builds alike, Raincheck LS offers a practical and effective solution for masonry protection that supports both structural integrity and aesthetic preservation.
