Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Varnish is perfect for any wooden floor, providing robust protection against heavy foot traffic, knocks, scuffs, and scratches. Its non-yellowing formulation enhances the natural beauty of the wood, ensuring a long-lasting finish. The varnish dries to the touch in just 30 minutes, allowing for quick re-use of the floors.

Installation

Ensure the room temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius.

Remove furniture and open doors and windows for ventilation.

For unvarnished floors, sand along the length of the floorboards with 120 grit sandpaper.

For previously varnished floors, lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper and remove any flaking varnish.

Wipe the floor down with white spirit before application.

Apply the varnish using a 4” brush, starting in the corner furthest from the door.

Wait for two hours before applying the next coat, ensuring to lightly sand before the third coat.

Allow 24 hours before moving furniture back in and 72 hours for the floor to reach full hardness.

Usage

Ideal for interior use on new or previously varnished wooden floors.

Can be vacuumed and swept after 72 hours without causing damage.

For cleaning, use a damp microfiber cloth to remove surface stains and scuffs.

Brushes can be cleaned easily with warm soapy water.

If scratches occur, apply three coats of varnish over the damaged area or use a Scratch Repair Kit.
