Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Varnish in Ebony Satin is designed to enhance the natural beauty of your wooden floors while providing robust protection against everyday wear and tear. This tough varnish is non-yellowing, ensuring that the color remains vibrant over time. It dries quickly, allowing for a second coat in just two hours, and is available in a variety of colors to suit your decor.

Installation

Ensure the room temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius.

Remove furniture and open doors and windows for ventilation.

For unvarnished floors, sand with 120 grit sandpaper and clean with white spirit.

For varnished floors, lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper and clean with white spirit.

Apply the varnish using a 4” brush, starting from the corner furthest from the door.

Wait two hours between coats, lightly sanding with 240 grit sandpaper before the third coat.

Allow 24 hours before replacing furniture and 72 hours for the floor to reach full hardness.

Usage

After 72 hours, the floor can be vacuumed and swept without damage.

To maintain the finish, clean with a damp microfiber cloth to remove dirt and scuffs.

Brushes can be cleaned easily with warm soapy water.

If scratches occur, apply three coats of varnish to repair or use the Scratch Repair Kit for minor damages.
