Description

General description

Smartseal Block Magic is a premium blend of liquid pigments and acrylic resins designed to rejuvenate and protect block paving driveways and patios. This product effectively restores the color lost due to sun exposure, rain, vehicle traffic, and pressure washing, ensuring your paving looks like new. It is suitable for application on old or poorly conditioned pavers, which may require two coats for a uniform finish. Please note that Block Magic should not be used on clay pavers or in combination with polyurethane.

Coverage: Approximately 3 m²/litre (2.5 m²/litre on old pavers)

Drying time: 3 hours before re-sanding; 2 hours between coats

Foot traffic: Allowed after 4 hours at 20°C

Vehicle traffic: Avoid for 24 hours at 20°C

Temperature range for application: 12°C to 23°C

Flash point: 40°C (Abel-Closed Cup)

Installation

Pressure wash the paving to remove all surface debris and muck from the joints.

Leave the paving to dry for 5 clear and dry days.

For original sand color: Apply one coat of Block Magic with a roller, then re-sand the surface with kiln-dried sand.

For changing sand color: Apply two coats of Block Magic with a roller, allowing 2 hours between coats, and ensure no rainfall is forecast for at least 8 hours after application.

After applying the sealer, expect 3-5 years of protection, depending on traffic, weather, and maintenance.

Usage

Ideal for restoring color and protecting block paving from future discoloration, weeds, algae, and staining.

Ensure the area is clean and dry before application for optimal results.

Use Smartseal cleaning fluid to clean equipment after use.
