General description

Smartseal Block Magic is a premium blend of liquid pigments and acrylic resins designed to rejuvenate and protect block paving driveways and patios. This product effectively restores the color lost due to sun exposure, rain, vehicles, and pressure washing, making your paving look like new. It is suitable for application on old block paving, with the possibility of requiring two coats for a uniform finish.

Coverage: Approximately 3 m²/litre (2.5 m²/litre on old pavers)

Drying time: 3 hours before re-sanding; 2 hours between coats if changing sand color

Foot traffic: Allowed after 4 hours at 20°C

Vehicle traffic: Minimum 24 hours at 20°C

Temperature range for application: 12°C to 23°C

Installation

Pressure wash the paving to remove all debris and contaminants.

Allow the paving to dry for 5 clear and dry days.

For original sand color: Apply one coat of Block Magic with a roller, then re-sand with kiln-dried sand.

For changing sand color: Apply two coats of Block Magic with a roller, ensuring 2 hours between coats.

Ensure no rainfall is forecast for at least 8 hours after application.

Usage

Block Magic is designed to recolor and protect block paving.

It is UV stable, color fast, stain resistant, and hard-wearing.

After applying the sealer, expect 3-5 years of protection, depending on traffic, weather, and maintenance.

Other information

Do not use on clay pavers or in combination with polyurethane.

All equipment should be cleaned with Smartseal cleaning fluid after use.

Deicing salts should not be applied directly on sealed block paving.

Health & Safety: Flammable liquid; keep the application area well ventilated and wear appropriate protective gear.

Tested by the TRL for skid resistance compliance.
