General description

Climashield Masonry Protection Cream is a VOC-free, water-based protective treatment designed to waterproof brickwork, masonry, and render. This deeply penetrating cream acts as an effective damp proofer and brick sealer, forming a robust barrier against penetrating damp while allowing the substrate to breathe, preventing moisture build-up.

Coverage: 5 m² per litre on standard brickwork; up to 10 m² per litre on dense, less absorbent surfaces

Chemical composition: Viscous masonry cream based on Advanced Silane/Siloxane chemistry

Compatibility and accessories

Can be painted over with specialist silicate-based masonry paints (e.g., Seciltek & Earthborn) after curing for 7 days

Suitable for softwood (e.g., pine); not recommended for hardwood (e.g., oak, teak, mahogany)

Not suitable for use over K Rend or Monocouche render systems

Installation

Ensure the substrate is dry before application to allow proper absorption

Can be applied using a roller or paintbrush

One heavy application is generally sufficient

Penetration and absorption time varies from 30 minutes to several hours based on surface porosity

Usage

Provides long-lasting protection against water penetration and damp spread
